My experience :   Some things are just true and stand the test of times. Just like its true that every parent has watched their kid sleep as it’s the most beautiful thing ever. Its also true that every parent has prayed and begged to God not to let that kid wake up before 2 hours!

Since the school summer vacations have begun, I have been on my toes each day trying to find some meaningful activity for my hyper active kid. He is easily bored and finishes tasks very quickly, so i have to keep the next activity ready before he finishes the one he is doing!

And I am guilty of plonking him in front of the TV when i can no longer interesting things to do ( we all are, right?)

Well, here is a monthly box of surprise that answers to the woes of all parents!

Flinto Box is a age specific box of cool and fun educative activities delivered to your house each month.

The box comes packaged in the month’s theme. My son was so excited to see just the outer box, he knew it was something fun  for him to do!

When i opened the box, i could see an assessment chart and a little story book. These were kept aside because we couldn’t wait to see what else it there.

We found 4 small packets, neatly packed and labelled. There were 4 activities waiting for us. All activity packets were numbered and had very specific details on them; like , how much time the activity will take, how much time of the parent is required for the activity and which all areas of development would be benefitted by this activity. I was already impressed!

The month of May had the theme of Jungle Adventurer for toddlers.

Activity 1 : My Safari Animals

This activity came with some cardboard cut-outs of animals, some finger paints , an apron, messy mat and instruction card.

My kid was really happy painting away the animals and i was really thankful for the apron and the messy mat!!

Activity 2 : Animal Kingdom

This activity was quite fun for both of us! It contained a jigsaw puzzle with tent cards. He assembled the jigsaw puzzle with the help of guides, which was a map of the world informing where all various animals come from.

Then we had to match the tent cards to the animals on the map. We learned the origin of various animals as well as some cool facts.

Activity 3 : Jumbled in Jungle

This was also a really fun activity. It contained a board game, wherein we had to assemble and ‘save’ some animals. My kid really enjoyed it as he won every time!

Activity 4 : Binocular

What is a jungle adventurer without a pair of binoculars, right?! This was the perfect farewell activity as he had to assemble a pair of binoculars and then he could play a fun game of pretending to go through a forest and finding all his animal friends! My son had so much fun with this that he refused to part with the binoculars till date!

Over all, my kid truly loved every activity of this box and forgot to watch his favorite cartoons on TV! The activities are engaging and educative in a really fun way, for both the kids as well as the parents. You can choose a box according to the age of your child( 1.5yrs to 8 yrs ) and watch your kids have fun while they learn!
