MSM Select Box May 2016 : UNBOXING

Hi my lovelies!

Happy Mother’s Day everyone 🙂 This is one of my favorite days to celebrate,even though i think everyday is a Mother’s day as she should be celebrated every single day!

MSM Box has been around for a while now, with their USP of A-Lot-In-A-Little !

The box is available in several variants, the most popular one being the Express Box (INR 495 per month) which contains some drugstore/niche/upcoming brands.

I opted for the Select box (INR 995 per month) which contains full size/deluxe samples of luxury/established brands.

This is my first MSM box ever and i  must say i am mighty impressed with their service, delivery and packaging. I got the box the very next day of ordering it as i had ordered it for my mum for mother’s day. Not only that, the box came packaged in a MSM logo brown bag, wrapped neatly in a waterproof layering with the box itself kept in a cardboard box. I really appreciate this extra effort and thoughtfulness.

Now coming to this month’s box. The theme this month is Best Face Forward, so i expected some products relating to skin care!

So in all i received 6 products with a bonus product for the mother’s day celebration, for sure its A-Lot-In-A-Little !

I really like the Clarins serum, Innisfree sheet masks reviewed here , Catrice mechanical eye pencil, the lip balm seems nice and so does the face wash. I also genrally love Lancome lipsticks but this one is too cool toned/blue based for me. So yes, over all its a really nice box.

However, when i pay so much for the box which is more than i pay for the other monthly box i receive ( My Envy Box is INR 850 per month ), i was expecting STRICTLY & ONLY luxury brands to be included in the box. I have not heard of the indigenous brands Ma Earth, Saante and Bipha. Innisfree & Catrice have some awesome products  but they are by no means, luxury brands.

So i would request the MSM team to step up a and send some REAL luxury brand product ( think Bobbi Brown, Estee Lauder, Clinique, Benefit, Chanel, Dior, Stila, Givenchy, MUFE , Forest Essentials, KAMA, Loccitane, Kiehl’s  and so on, you get the drift! ) and it would be nice to receive some coupons or discount codes too.
